Language Program

Our students receive multilingual education. In addition to Dutch and French, we offer Cambridge English and the option for a fourth language. This opens doors to universities and careers worldwide.

Trilingual diploma

Students from the Dutch Section earn exam qualifications in three languages: Dutch (OIB), French (Baccalauréat), and optionally English (Cambridge).

Cambridge English

The Lycée International offers the option to follow Cambridge English as an additional program. This follows international Cambridge standards and prepares students for official Cambridge exams.

Cambridge IGCSE

Internationally recognized certificate for students aged 14-16

Cambridge AS/A Level

Advanced level for lycée students, recognized by universities

Cambridge CPE

Certificate of Proficiency for the highest language level

Français Spécial

Newcomers who do not yet speak French receive intensive support through the Français Spécial program. This ensures fast and effective integration into the French education system.

  • Intensive lessons – Extra hours of French alongside the regular program
  • Small groups – Personal attention and guidance
  • Gradual integration – Step-by-step transition to regular classes
  • Duration – Average 1-2 years to full integration

European Reference Framework

Our students typically achieve level C1-C2 in Dutch and French, and B2-C1 in English upon graduation. This corresponds to professional working language proficiency.
